A Little About Our Company
Rhoda Yap
Rhoda is the Managing Director and Chief Trainer of Metamorphic Training. Prior to this, Rhoda was the CEO of a leading Asian lifestyle brand. Before that, she was based in the US where she had a career with McKinsey & Co, serving Fortune 50 clients. While in New York, she also spent time at JP Morgan Investment Bank in their Strategy Unit. Additionally Rhoda was called to the Bar of England and Wales and practiced law (litigation and commercial) at Reddi & Co Advocates at the beginning of her professional career.
Today, Rhoda follows her passion for education and training. Beyond that, she spends her time pondering on the meaning of life.
Rhoda holds an LLB (Hons) from King’s College London and an MBA from Cornell University, where she was awarded a scholarship and fellowship.
Niels Strohkirch
Niels Strohkirch is a seasoned C-level professional with over 20 years of international experience across both blue-chip institutions and entrepreneurial organizations. As Metamorphic Training’s Managerial Finance expert, Niels draws his experience from his time as CFO at Mercedes Malaysia and more recently as Group CFO of the Valiram Group from 2008 to 2013, Kuala Lumpur, the largest independent luxury retailer in South East Asia.
Niels balances his free time between his family, sports and travel. He is, additionally, an active member of the local Rotary club striving to make this world a better place.
Niels holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, Germany and additionally completed the Entrepreneurship Development Program from the Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA.
Zai Rahman
Zai is a trained ecologist and has over 16 years of environmental consulting experience. The majority of her work has been for oil/gas, petrochemical and infrastructure clients throughout Asia and the Middle East. She is a registered EIA Consultant with the Malaysian Department of Environment as well as the National Resources and Environment Board, Sarawak.
In her free time, Zai is a prolific green-fingered gardener and enjoys reliving her child-hood ballet memories through on-going dancing classes.
Zai holds a double bachelors’ degrees in Ecology and Business Administration as well as a Masters in Environmental Science from the University of Georgia, United States.
Reuben Yap
Reuben Yap is the ultimate jack of all trades and a 3rd Dan Aikido Master. His day job is as a partner at Reddi & Co Advocates, a leading legal firm in Sarawak, Malaysia but his passion lies in all things tech and gadget which he is fulfilling as an entrepreneur and co-founder of the BolehVPN Sdn. Bhd.
On certain whims, he’s been known to participate in MMA fights.
He holds an LLB from the University of Nottingham.
Benjamin Ting
Benjamin is a technology and management consultant with over 15 years of IT and Management consultancy experience and has spent 11 years with Accenture. Over his tenure with Accenture, he has been involved in management consulting, system implementation and outsourcing engagements with clients across a range of industries which includes oil & gas, automotive, consumer goods, airlines, shipping, advertising, media & print and IT distribution.
Benjamin is an avid touch rugby player.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Electronics with Business Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
